Has anyone had any problems with their 4200 Hydro jerking when going down a hill? I can depress the hydro pedal or even put on the cruise and try to go down a hill and it jerks like the hydro is grabbing then releasing?

4000's had a thrust washer heat treat problem that caused some problems.

You should search this board using keywords of washer and transmission to see
a couple of issues that have occurred, and see if you have any of the other symptoms. ....

Check to make sure you are not dragging a brake. I was going down a hill on a dirt road recently and noted that one rear tire was disturbing the road surface while the other tire wasn't. Sure enough, the brake on the left side was just dragging a little bit. Don't notice it normally, but when on the road it heated up more and started dragging. If there is one spot on your brake that grabs a little earlier, maybe this could give you the surging effect you experience. ....
